In the midst of the political upheavals of the Arab Spring, the filmmaker Nada falls in love with Ayman. Ayman wants to leave the country due to the worsening social and political situation. Nada is all torn up: Can she make him stay? Should she go with him? She confronts her fears and doubts and tries to hold on to her love and hope for her country. The intimate documentary reveals the insecurity of a generation of young Egyptians suffering from the political legacy of their parents’ generation and longing to shape their own present. In cooperation with Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung.
